Good and bad stress is a part of everyday life. However, there are many ways to effectively reduce unnecessary stress through energy work. This includes meditation, mindfulness, and any type of energy healing practices.
Whenever I find myself being an emotional stress ball, incorporating energy healing practices throughout the day has done wonders for my sanity.
In fact, many energy healers stand by the statistic that 17 seconds of energy work can equate to 2 or more hours of physical work. Whether or not that is the case for you, just know that managing your energy can help get you farther than where you want to go.
So what exactly can holding a positive thought for 68 seconds do for you on the energetic level? Studies have shown that even 17 seconds of focusing your attention on something positive can make a huge impact on your thought patterns. When you hold a positive thought, you activate the vibration of that thought within you. Immediately the Law of Attraction begins to respond to that activation.
The longer you keep your attention focused on something, the easier it becomes for you to continue to focus upon it. This is because you are attracting, through the Law of Attraction, other thoughts or vibrations that are the essence of the thought you began with.
Within 17 seconds of focusing on something, a matching vibration becomes activated. And now, as that focus becomes stronger and the vibration becomes clearer, the Law of Attraction will bring to you more thoughts that match. At this point, the vibration will not have much attraction power, but if you maintain your focus longer, the power of the vibration will become further reaching.
And if you manage to stay purely focused upon any thought for as little as 68 seconds, the vibration is powerful enough that its manifestation begins.
For instance, ever notice how when you go on autopilot, the To-Do list doesn’t necessarily get shorter? At the end of the day, do you ever feel like you did a lot but didn’t really get anything substantial done?
Well that’s when energy work can play a big part in helping you get more efficient and productive, particularly when it comes to working smarter not harder.
Even taking a brief moment to practice meditating can help you gain mental clarity. Doing so allows you to be able to better focus your attention from thoughts that drain your energy to thoughts that uplift you.
Also, taking some time to meditate at any point of the day, even for a minute, can allow for emotional cleansing. The clarity comes from taking a moment to stop, observe, listened, and understand what is going on.
Otherwise, days, months and even years could slip past unnoticed. So find a comfortable seated position and focus on your breath. Perhaps you make want to visualize a mountain or a lake. Perhaps a walking meditation is better for you and your lifestyle.
Either way, being aware of your thoughts can help you to see and know your thoughts as just thoughts rather than getting caught up in them as a reality. Whether you prefer to sit, lie down, or walk, just take the first step even if it is just for a few minutes.
In order for the energy healing practices to be effective, you must be willing to face our thoughts when they come up, sometimes over and over again, without running away to avoid the unavoidable.
